Munich, o de cómo Spielberg redime años de cine mediocre

El otro día fui a ver Munich, y me encantó. Una parte de mí temía encontrarse con el Spielberg de chufas como La terminal, Atrápame si puedes, Minority Report o AI. Pero no. Esta peli es tan sobria, tan intensa y tan bien construída y ajustada que no parece suya, o al menos desde que dirigió La lista de Schindler.

La principal diferencia con La lista… -típica peli que todo el mundo dice: “jo, qué obra maestra” pero que para mí está sobrevalorada- es que en Munich no hay lugar para la sensiblería fácil ni el puchero. En Munich, afortunadamente, no hay judíos en blanco y negro que, transparencias mediante, pasan a color y dejan, ceremoniosamente, piedras sobre la tumba de Schindler, acompañados de los propios actores de la película, en un fenómeno de traslación fílmica sin parangón desde que Allen fantaseara en La rosa púrpura del Cairo.

Munich

En Munich hay una historia político-policíaca de puta madre. Supongo que ya sabrás el tema: un equipo de espías israelíes se dedican a eliminar a cabecillas terroristas árabes o palestinos o palestino-árabes, que no es lo mismo. Uno de los mejores aspectos de la peli es su limpieza de espíritu: no hay eufemismos, desde el primer momento se mata y se habla de matar. Nada de agentes engañados que pensaban que iban a atrapar a los malos para que los juzgaran. No. Aquí se mata y a lo bestia. Se mata como matan los seres humanos: a veces con frialdad, otras veces chapuceramente, en ocasiones con dudas, en otras, con temores, paranoias, rencores o arrepentimiento.

Ideológicamente, la peli me parece impecable. Retrata a unos cafres que organizan la-de-dios-es-cristo en un secuestro, supuestamente en nombre de un pueblo oprimido. Después, retrata a otros cafres que se toman la justicia por su mano, supuestamente en nombre de un estado amenzado. Y, en medio, las dudas, los miedos, las certezas y los sentimientos de un hombre encargado de ir matando uno a uno a unos pibes que están en una lista.

Coincido con algún crítico en señalar que la mejor secuencia de la peli es cuando van a la caza de un asesino a sueldo, en plan venganza. No lo voy a contar con detalle para no joderle a nadie la peli, ya que se ha estrenado hace poquillo. Pero la parsimonia de los ejecutores y la naturalidad en el comportamiento de la víctima hacen que la crueldad y la cotidianeidad vayan juntas de la mano en unos momentos enormes, de cine negro puro, como hacía mucho que no se veían.

También destaca la recreación del asalto al hotel de concentración de los deportistas israelíes, que contiene unos momentos de violencia tan dura e impresionante como hermosa. Disparos que suenan como los de los informativos, no como los de las pelis. Y eso acojona.

¿El punto negro? Pues una temprana escena sexual del protagonista con su mujer: sencillamente ridícula, de una pacatería vergonzosa. Por supuesto, no hay por qué enseñar el coño de la tía y la polla del tío al filmar un encuentro amoroso. Pero joder, el rollito ella-vestida-y-él-tapadito-con-la-sábana-justo-ahí está superado desde hace décadas, y cada vez que lo veo en pelis contemporáneas me dan ganas de reír. Es que es una cuestión de ideología cinematográfica, porque una de dos: o nos enseñas a los actores follando y mostrando sus carnes si no te importa enseñar tetas, coño y culos, o, ya que no quieres mostrar carnaza, pues cierras un poco el plano y punto. Pero quedarse a medias, poniendo sábanas ridículas que tapan las entrepiernas de los actores es estúpido.

Van pasando los años, y parece que el señor Spielberg va poniéndose las pilas. Cada vez rueda mejores secuencias de acción y en cada ocasión retrata la violencia de forma más real. Hurra por él y congraciémonos sus espectadores. Pero el sexo sigue siendo su asignatura pendiente. Créeme, no le tengo manía, por mucho que le ataque. El día que haga follar bien en una peli suya, seré el primero en celebrarlo.

    B>ueno a mi ya te lo comenté me pareció buena pero no una obra maestra, Eric Banna hace un muy buen papel y la peli está muy bien redactada ya qué hay gran parte que deben haberla supuesto pues no creo que el Mossad le haya contado a Spielberg como se inició este plan.
    El fallo que creo que hace que yo no lo vea como tan buena es que es poco objetiva, palestinos feos y sangrientos y los Judios todos unos pedazo de sabiondos del 15 expertos en todo y bonachones la escena que xomentas es la del tlf no??
    Es una gran escena pero…..La caga intentando dejar a los judíos en buen lugar.
    No soy antijudío ni nada por el estilo pero nadie los ha querido nunca, en ningún sitio ni en deportes ni nada parecido.
    Lo que le están haciendo ahora a los palestinos es lo mismo que hicieron en el 72 no jodamos.
